Ingredients:

  • 2 green mangoes, julienned
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fermented shrimp paste (bagoong alamang)
  • 1 tablespoon calamansi or lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 chili pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp (optional protein addition)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix bagoong, calamansi juice, vinegar, and sugar.
  2. Combine green mango, tomato, and onion in a larger bowl.
  3. Pour dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
  4. Add cooked shrimp if using for added protein.
  5. Garnish with sliced chili if desired.
  6. Serve immediately as a side or light meal.
