Ingredients:
- 1 cup glutinous rice (or substitute brown rice for more fiber)
- 4 cups water
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2-3 tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons dried fish flakes (tuyo)
- Optional: cinnamon stick while cooking
Instructions:
- Rinse rice until water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Stir in cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
- Simmer for another 5-10 minutes until thick.
- Stir in coconut milk.
- Serve topped with dried fish flakes.
