I’d like to revamp my 9x9’ den into a better work space for Jason and I. We have something that works for the both of us for the most part, but I think I’m suffering a bit more than he is. While he has my 2-screen set up from my tech days, I’ve downsized to a laptop and portable everything — something that doesn’t really make me feel like I’m taking work all that seriously.
My set up was originally built for a house of 1 — 2 desk spaces, 1 for my 2-screen tech desk job, and another desk set up for my art work. Now that Jason has moved in, I’ve had to use my art desk for all things and it doesn’t feel very sustainable.
I think about how this could be a 2-person desk somehow, but I also think about how there might be potential in changing up the living room to make more separated work space.
