Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup water or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 soft-boiled egg
- 1/2 cup steamed spinach
- 1 tablespoon furikake seasoning
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 avocado, sliced (optional)
Instructions:
- Bring water or broth to a boil in a small pot.
- Add oats, reduce heat, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until creamy.
- Meanwhile, prepare a soft-boiled egg (boil for 6-7 minutes).
- Stir sesame oil into cooked oatmeal.
- Transfer oatmeal to a bowl.
- Top with steamed spinach, soft-boiled egg, avocado if using.
- Sprinkle with furikake seasoning and green onions.
- Drizzle with soy sauce.
