Ingredients:

  • 2 white fish fillets (tilapia or cod, about 150g each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 large lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 1 cup green mango, julienned
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Lime wedges for serving

For Mango Salsa:

  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Combine cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub over fish fillets.
  2. Brush fish with olive oil.
  3. Grill fish for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through and flaky.
  4. Mix all mango salsa ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Break fish into chunks.
  6. Serve fish in lettuce leaves topped with green mango, avocado, red onion, mango salsa, and cilantro.
  7. Serve with lime wedges.
