Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh lato (sea grapes) or other seaweed, rinsed and drained
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons calamansi or lime juice
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 small chili, chopped (optional)
- 1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Blanch lato or seaweed in boiling water for 10 seconds, then immediately transfer to ice water. Drain well.
- In a bowl, combine lato, tomato, and onion.
- Mix calamansi juice and fish sauce to make the dressing.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss gently.
- Add chopped chili if using.
- Season with black pepper.
- Top with sliced hard-boiled egg.
- Serve immediately.
