I’m exploring ASCII art for my garden. I don’t really have any visual direction at the moment, but would like to do something more fun and retro. I love how some people have gone more skeuomorphic with theirdigital-garden, but I’m hoping to find something that resonates with me the most.
Finding this tutorial readme has been the highlight so far. Though, it’s not really what I’m looking for atm.
Underware has a solid case study on ASCII art and how to read the greyscale values in ASCII characters to create art. I can’t believe people used to do this manually.
